2015 Fall Term Course Substitutions

Given the interdisciplinary nature of many honors college courses, there are a few that I will approve to fulfill requirements in the P&P major, even though they are not offered through the PS, PHIL/HPS, or ECON departments. Listed here are the substitutions you can make for the 2015 Fall Term (2161):

COMMRC 1731 - Special Topics in Rhetoric
Can be used to fulfill a course in the "political science" or "philosophy" component

ECON 1700 - Prosem Methodology of Economics: The Political Economy of Jim Crow
Can be used to fulfill a course in the "political science" component

HIST 1190 - Medieval Government and Society
Can be used to fulfill a course in the "political science" component

HIST 1685 - US Popular Culture
Can be used to fulfill a course in the "political science" component

If there's a course not listed here (it doesn't have to be offered through the honors college, either) that you wish to have considered as a substitution within the P&P major, please contact David Hornyak (remember, the P&P major is thematic by nature).
