Student Honors Activities Council Mission and Goals

Mission - A forum for the generation and discussion of academic, community service, and social activities by University Honors College Students

Purpose - To provide structure and organization in the planning and allocation of funds for UHC sponsored events and programs.

Membership - Members consist of all honors eligible full-time University of Pittsburgh undergraduate students

Goals

  • Establish community in the Honors College and between all UHC students
  • Provide leadership opportunities for students
  • Fulfill intellectual/academic curiosities among UHC students
  • Maintain and develop networks throughout the University of Pittsburgh
  • Develop student initiative
  • Provide resources to facilitate student initiatives
