Fessenden Honors Engineering Program
The University Honors College (UHC) offers a particularly challenging and comprehensive two-term program for curious, motivated, and talented entering engineering students. The Fessenden Honors Engineering Program enables participating students to take UHC courses together as a group for the duration of the program.

Pitt Quiz Bowl
Pitt Quiz Bowl is an association of students at the University of Pittsburgh engaged in the "varsity sport of the mind," academic competition. We have weekly practices, travel to various tournaments in the region, and generally have a good time.

Student Honors Activities Council
The Student Honors Activities Council (SHAC), a recognized student organization made up of students who take UHC classes, meets regularly throughout the academic year. SHAC students have played a fundamental role in creating an academic community by planning and sponsoring a variety of cocurricular events.
