Upon moving to Pittsburgh from Boston in 2004, Lute White joined the University Honors College (UHC) as the housemaster for the Forbes-Craig Honors Community. As housemaster, he is responsible for developing academic community through the facilitation of student-initiated programs and one-on-one interactions with high-achieving, upper-class honors students.

While fulfilling his role as housemaster, White is also a fulltime graduate student in the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Education where he received his MEd in higher education administration in the spring of 2006.
