Upperclass Housing Application
We are currently accepting applications to reside in the 2007-08 Upperclass Honors Communities. There is a significant change for the upcoming year-there will no longer be an honors community in McCormick Hall, but there will instead be a community in Forbes Hall, which will include both an Upperclass House and first-year honors housing, as well.
Floor plans are available for all of the communities by going to the Panther Central Website. You can find floor plans for all of the communities by clicking the links for the individual buildings and following the Floor Plans link.
Please note the following requirements for applying to the Upperclass Honors Houses:
- Applicants must have completed at least one term at the University at the time of application.
- Preference is given to applicants with a 3.25 QPA.
- Applicants must have a valid Housing Guarantee (check with the Housing Office for more information on the Housing Guarantee). Students without housing guarantees cannot be considered for honors housing.
Please review all of the informational materials before applying to avoid any confusion. Also, if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact Eric Owens, Coordinator of Honors Housing, at eowens@pitt.edu, AIM: UHCEric, or 412-624-8633. You can access the application using the link below.
The application is due by 5:00pm on February 7, 2008. Applications may be submitted after that time, but may be deferred until current applicants are placed. For additional information, contact Eric Owens at eowens@pitt.edu
