2014 Spring Term Course Substitutions

Given the interdisciplinary nature of many honors college courses, there are a few that I will approve to fulfill requirements in the P&P major, even though they are not offered through the PS, PHIL/HPS, or ECON departments. Listed here are the substitutions you can make for the 2014 Spring Term (2144):

ECON 1700 - Prosem Methodology of Economics (Political Economy of Race)
Can be used to fulfill a course in the "political science" OR "economics" component
(NOTE: This is also a w-course.)

GEOL 1056 - UHC Environmental Ethics, Science, and Public Policy
Can be used to fulfill a course in the "political science" OR "economics" component

HIST 1190 - Medieval Government and Society
Can be used to fulfill a course in the "political science" component

LEGLST 1152/PUBSRV 1300 - Legal Issues in Public Service
Can be used to fulfill a course in the "political science" component

WOMNST 1140 - Special Topics (Wired Women)
Can be used to fulfill a course in the "political science" component
(NOTE: This is also a w-course.)

If there's a course not listed here (it doesn't have to be offered through the honors college, either) that you wish to have considered as a substitution within the P&P major, please contact David Hornyak (remember, the P&P major is thematic by nature).
